The most brilliant moment in Raiders of the Lost Ark is when Indiana Jones just straight up shoots a guy who’s spoiling for a fight. He doesn’t have time for that garbage and neither does the movie. Sometimes, you just don’t have the time nor patience to play games.
I think the position is defensible here, even if the math is all wrong. Dark Maiden is talking about, what, a dozen deaths? As opposed to the billions who live on the Earth? Maybe it’s Spy Gal’s math that’s all wrong?
