Please tell me that Chinese food place on Clovis and Kings Canyon was made it through the battle in one piece.

It is well and good. Also, what? How have I not heard of this place and never eaten there?

Up until this comic’s existence, I would’ve found it impossible to find Suckface’s good side. Kudos to mass media for finding it. And kudos to the artist for rendering it here!

He’s a dapper, dapper man. In the right light.

It’s good to see Michelle is alive and well :) (all things considered of course)

Alive, yes. But wherewith The Captain?

  4. Marcus

Well that the media for you … Often twisting the truth a bit. :(

Nice to see the two girlfriends of the Captain working together for a common goal.

Does the media ever get anything truly right? During the few times I or my family has been on the news in some way, small facts were represented poorly. Makes me wonder how accurate anything we see really is.

Well, it’s nice to see some thing didn’t change with the alien conquest. *insert joke about the death of fair and unbiased news/journalism here* I thought it was a very well done and piece of exposition. Quite subtle actually. It reminds of of something a professor of mine said, that the only thing the media enjoys more than building up someone as a hero is tearing one down.

Too true. We’ll see the media’s bias and propensity towards her worship/destruction more in the coming storyline.

Time to break out the spray paint and leave reactionary messages like “What about Tom?” on the ZBC network building.

  7. WGC

I agree with all the comments on the Media so far. But in their defense, how long do you think they would live if they were honest and not towing the party line? Remember, they’re Network “journalists”, not Pajama Media (who are able to file their reports on the move at any internet access).
