CHRIS WATKINS BRINGS THE HEAT!
I love the detail Chris puts into each and every one of his drawings. So much character in those lines. And that punchline is pretty classic. Great use of the camera to tell the story. That’s not an easy thing to do, mind you. There are plenty of webcomic artists who could not pull off that angle and would not attempt this joke because of that. Thanks a bunch, Chris!
A bit more about Chris:
Chris Watkins is the creator of Odori Park, a romantic “East marries West” comedy about a Japanese-and-American couple with a toddler son and a small business that keep them hopping from culture clash to culture shock. Chris writes from his experiences living in Japan and being married into an international family, with a wonderful wife and two young sons of his own. He is also completely exhausted from all of the above, except for when he’s sleeping, which is never.
