I love this. I love that it takes Money Man–a character usually identified (correctly) as a Batman analogue–and makes him Iron Man. Hilarious alternate take. This idea’s been in my head since at least December 2012! I had almost completely forgotten about it but with the 10th anniversary celebrations I started browsing through old posts. I found one where you challenged people to identify the characters’ analogues, and another where I obliquely referenced this concept (but didn’t tip my hand as I still had intentions of submitting it as a guest strip) http://superfogeys.com/2013/04/24/500-what-should-not-be/#comment-43531
Better late than never – thanks for giving me the Twitter encouragement to get it done. I’m not so proud of the rush job on the art I’m supremely proud that the strip finally exists at all. It also owes its existence thanks to John helping me to find the characters’ voices and turning a concept into a snappy script.
PS Brock still can’t spell my name. I guess it’s a fair cop for spelling “colour” wrong

A little sad that he didn’t have a repulsor ray installed in his *monocle* instead. Otherwise, love it! (also: seeing Cap throw the hospital doors open dramatically like that makes me realize I have no idea how Superman would enter a hospital in a similar situation. Seen Batman do it -using grappling hook and window, of course- but never seen Supes do it. What would Superman do? What??)
