Marc, did you come up with Dark Maiden’s design? (Maybe this was already addressed, so forgive me.)

    • Marc Lapierre

Dark Maiden’s costume was actually designed by both Brock and I. Most of the outfit is Brock’s design. The inverted stars, larger tiara, and shorter haircut are my contributions.

Marc, I think that’s just about every important element of Dark Maiden’s costume!

I love the look of Swifty today, the burnt clothes, the winded look. He definitely proved he’s still go it, but he’s quickly reminded of why he hasn’t used it in a while.

I feel that Star Maiden’s turn to Dark Maiden is going to poison her view of the friendship she and Swifty had and really cause his heart to break. We’ve seen how it affects him before he starts time jumping and even knowing that I still am pulled at the heartstrings for him and wish there was a way to change the fate.

Agreed–Marc killed it on Swifty in the last panel. You can feel the miles.

But the President specifically said not to fight back because of the space pigs.

Too true. But Dark Maiden knows humanity pretty well at this point.

Wow – that’s the first real time we’ve seen any expression on Swifty’s face other than his usual sneer (or a variation thereof).
The art here is amazing and the scripting is well tight. Looking forward to Monday’s post.

I feel so bad for Swifty, D.S. is going to tear his heart and and eat it.

What’s the “Whoof!” for? Super speed BO?
