Greetings, Fellow Fogey Fanatics! It’s your friendly neighborhood SuperFogeys artist, Marc here with a little announcement. Next month I will be attending the New York Comic Con at the Javits Center in the Big Apple from October 12 – 14. While I’m there you can find me in Artist Alley sharing a table with the lovely and talented Irma Eriksson of the comic Imy. Table C5 to be exact.
Now, food and lodging in New York is not cheap AT ALL. So, what I’d like to do is open up my convention commission sketches early to you, the SuperFogeys readers in an effort to get a jump on covering those expenses and giving you a chance to get a piece of original art from me. For $25 I will do an 8 1/2″ x 11″ full color sketch of any character of your choosing (Fogey or otherwise) and mail it to you as soon as possible at no extra shipping charge (as long as you’re in the USA). To order a sketch send me an email to marc (at) spookydoofus dot com. Be sure to use the phrase “SuperFogeys Commission Sketch” in the subject of your email so I can easily keep track of orders as they come in. Payment is accepted though PayPal.
If there are any of you thinking about ordering a sketch are also planning to attend NYCC, stop by my table to pick up your sketch in person and I’ll knock $5 off the price. Just let me know in your order email if you’ll be at the show.
