   I love that Spy Gal (Avalon)’s reaction to torture is “Grrrr”. Powerful characterization in only five letters!

   Also, Jerry never stops being a little boy, does he? From the über-virile pose in the first panel to the malevolent, spiteful smirk in the last,

   Last, this doesn’t quite answer Spy gal’s question. Or does it? And why does he only tortures the Avalonians, hero and villain alike?

     Your assessment of the twin characterizations of Spy Gal and Jerry in this episode is spot on.

     As for the Avalonians…it all comes down to one thing…what does Jerry care about? Everything else is just fun.
